Rev William Ward Sr. Secondary School
Reverend William Ward Senior Secondary School is located on the direction of West approximately the distance of 1 K.M. away from Lakhimpur town in the vicinity of Lakhimpur Girl’s College. Reverend William Ward received the recognition from AHSEC as per vide no.- AHSEC/RPR/RRC/57/06/10001-10092 on the date of 10/09/2012. After recognition Reverend William Ward Senior Secondary School starts to focus more and more on the development of infrastructure side to provide different facilities to the students, keeping in mind regarding all round development to deliver more effectiveness regarding education by bringing out starting from the capacity of seating arrangement to a sufficient level for classroom, laboratories, libraries and others.
Education is one of the great pillars that completes a man. It is the flavor which everyone has to taste to make the life meaningful. A glimpse of history in education can even help to sustain the balance of the fabric of society. Among one of the missionaries who helped to widen the perspective on English language and eradicate the communication barrier to educate the Indians in far better way, William Ward too contributed most of his strength to build the future of education in India. By honouring his enormous dedication and contribution the institution engraved its name as Reverend William Ward Junior College (R.W.W.J.C.) on 2010. Later due to the amalgamation of Class IX and Class X, the institution decided to remodeled the name into Reverend William Ward Senior Secondary School (R.W.W.S.S.S) on 2021 to preserve the age-old glory.
From the period of foundation, Reverend William Ward has always been trying to achieve of the best and foremost option for those students who deserve better and desire to shape their inter-personal skills and its development as well as their academic career. Currently, the School offers HS courses in Arts, Science and Commerce along with IX and X classes respectively. It is also one of the reputed institutions regarding not only for instruction of curricular activities provided by NCERT but also drilling and practising the values of social norms and morals by organizing co-curricular activities like cultural and social programme enabling the students to cope up in the society. Career oriented counseling is also up skilled to enlighten on various courses to get acquainted with that particular programme to enrich the knowledge.
